The natural aging process inevitably leads to a loss of volume in certain parts of the face and a change in the distribution of fat. These changes, as well as skin aging, are responsible for the appearance of facial wrinkles and deep lines.

Injectable dermal fillers can restore volume loss and thus counteract the effects of aging. Combined with complementary treatments such as upper or lower blepharoplasty, botulinum toxin injections (Botox®, Xeomin®, Dysport®), CO2 laser resurfacing or laser treatment for hyperpigmentation, dermal fillers can significantly improve the appearance of the face.

Dermal fillers can also correct or camouflage certain facial imperfections such as a dorsal bump, pronounced dark circles, and an unsightly chin.

Last, dermal fillers are also frequently used to augment and define the contour of the lips.

What products are used?

There are many products on the market and we have a great deal of experience in the use of all product lines:
– Hyaluronic acids: this is a sugar naturally present in the human body that helps maintain good tissue hydration. There are many brands of synthetic hyaluronic acid that can provide long-lasting filling: JuvedermⓇ, BeloteroⓇ, RestylanⓇ.
Hyaluronic acid is the most widely used filler in the world and can be used to fill in facial lines and wrinkles, enhance lips and reshape the jaw line, among others.
– Polylactic acid: SulptraⓇ is a resorbable filler that can be used to treat deep facial lines and hollows.
– Hydroxyapatite: RadiesseⓇ fills in specific areas of the face such as the jaw line and improves the appearance of aging hands.

What can be treated?

Dermal fillers can improve the appearance of the following age-related conditions:
Nasolabial folds;
Perioral wrinkles (smokers’ wrinkles);
Frown lines (between the eyes);
Jowls;
Marionette lines;
– Loss of volume in the cheekbones;
– “Skeleton hands.”

Injectable dermal fillers can also correct certain aesthetic imperfections:

Last, we use hyaluronic acid to augment and define the lips and jaw lines.
